School Referenda Debate

About 90 people turned out to the Warner Park Community Center Thursday night to hear representatives from two organizations debate the Madison school referenda.

Reps from Madison CARES and Get Real posed questions to one another about whether the public should approve the spending of nearly $50 million.

The public also had its chance to weigh in on Tuesday's vote.

The biggest point on contention: whether the district has been fiscally responsible n the past and how that could affect the future.
