Madison Schools Referenda: Ballot Mess Up

The Madison School district tells NBC 15 News that some 85-thousand ballots printed for Tuesday's referendum vote are wrong.

A representative of the school district tells us some of the language in referendum questions 2 and 3 was not changed after the school board passed admendments to those questions.

The ballots will now have to be re-printed at an undetermined cost.

Madison school officials say corrected ballots will be ready at the polls in time for voters on Tuesday but all the absentee ballots have been shipped with the incorrect wording.

More later on NBC 15 News at 10.
