Man Dies Following Tree Accident
The driver who was hospitalized after a tree fell on his car has died.
Visar Morina, 29, was from Kosovo, but had been living with relatives in Fitchburg.
Morina died in the Intensive Care Unit at UW Hospital. He'd been there since last Wednesday when a tree in Woodland Park uprooted and fell on his car as he traveled down Monona Drive.
Monona officials say an independent consultant has tested the remaining trees in that area to see if there's any danger of more falling.
Test results should be back from the lab in about two weeks.
