Suspects Sought in Bank Robbery

A shocking start to the holiday weekend for some bank employees on Madison's east side.
About 11:15 Friday morning, a man and a woman robbed the Associated Bank at 3394 East Washington Avenue. The robbers said they had a gun, but they didn't show it. It's now known just how much money they got away with.
Police say they looking for a white female with red hair, and a white male with short brown hair. They drove off in a green Ford Escort station wagon with a yellow circle where the front license plate should be.

Callers remain anonymous, and could be eligible for a cash reward.
