Four Golf Company Marines did not make it home from Iraq. Monday, they were remembered for their bravery with a special ceremony and monument dedication.

The Fallen Warrior memorial recognizes marines who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country and the pursuit of freedom. The monument was unveiled at the Marine Reserve Center in Madison as a permanent reminder of their service and sacrifice.

Capt. Benjamin Wagner, Golf Company Commander, says, "The dedication of the fallen warrior memorial essentially is a piece that will forever be here at the reserve center so that marines not only of the past, marines of the present and marines of the future, will have the ability to look on that monument... see those who have given so much for the cause of freedom and remember them always."

The four marines of Golf Company who died in Iraq are Corporal Robert P. Warns II, Lance Corporal Ryan Cantafio, Lance Corporal Shane O'Donnell and Lance Corporal Branden P. Ramey.
