A statewide version of C-SPAN could be on your television by January.

Last year, the private network won exclusive rights to broadcast from both legislative houses.

Wisconsin-Eye's president says the network will begin broadcasting legislative briefings, as well as programs on health, business, education and the arts.

The president of Wisconsin-Eye says the network will pay for the cameras and equipment, but turn them over to the state once they are installed.
