A Milwaukee area man disappears on a business trip out west, and a search for him is underway.
David Koch of Hartland vanished in Vancouver, Canada more than a week ago. He was in town on a business trip, but never showed up for any meetings. He's seen in a surveillance video buying tickets to ride a tram to the top of a mountain.
Amid the search, his wife, Suzanne, has flown out from Wisconsin to be there during the search. She says she's hopeful that he's out there and just isn't able to get where he needs to be. While his mother-in-law Mary Ann Hager says, "it just doesn't make any sense. Dave was a very athletic, outdoors person, and if anyone could survive, Dave could. He wasn't scared of anything."
Koch's family and employer have set up a fund to help pay for the rescue effort. You can get more information about the rescue efforts at www.finddave.net.
