A Tomah man is charged with the death of his father after leading police on a high-speed chase along the interstate.
Twenty-four-year-old David Cummins is being held in the Rock County Jail. Authorities had been looking for him since Friday night. That's when they found the body of John Cummins at a home on the 1,000 block of Deer Run Lane in Tomah.
Cummins led officers on a high-speed chase Saturday night after police got a call about a possible drunken driver on I-39 near Beloit.
He was finally stopped near the Stoughton exit in Dane County, after driving over road spikes and was taken into custody.
He is also facing charges of eluding an officer, operating while intoxicated, and carrying a concealed weapon.
