An 11-year-old boy says he didn't do it. The Rockford child entered a denial plea Thursday afternoon in Rock County Circuit Court. That's the same as entering a not guilty plea in adult court.
The boy is accused of pouring alcohol on a 13-year-old girl at a slumber party in Janesville and setting her on fire. The girl suffered burns to her chest, shoulder, neck and hand, but is expected to make a full recovery.
The 11-year-old boy who allegedly set her on fire remains in juvenile detention Thursday. He will face a jury trial next month.
