An Iowa County man has pleaded guilty to charges that he photographed himself having sex with his girlfriend and the woman's young twin girls.
Thirty-seven-year-old Roger M. Smith of Hollandale faces a mandated sentence of 15 to 30 years in federal prison when he's sentenced in September. He pleaded guilty Friday.
Smith and his 30-year-old Illinois girlfriend are accused of sexually assaulting the woman's 6-year-old twins within the last year.
The woman told investigators she gave her daughters cough syrup before the assaults. She also said she and Smith took turns photographing each other during the assaults.
The woman's trial begins July 21.
A message left for Smith's attorney at his office Saturday evening was not immediately returned.

Man, woman plead not guilty to taking dirty pictures of twins
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A man and woman accused of taking sexually explicit pictures of the woman's 6-year-old twin daughters have pleaded not guilty in federal court.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Stephen Crocker set Roger Smith and the woman's trial for July 21st. The Associated Press is not naming the woman because her daughters are alleged sexual assault victims.
A grand jury returned an indictment against Smith and the woman Wednesday, accusing them of taking pictures of the twins in sexual positions and the two of them sexually assaulting the girls and sharing the photos online.
The 37-year-old Smith is from Hollandale. Court documents say the 30-year-old woman is from central Illinois.

An unthinkable act -- a mother is accused of crimes against her own children.
A man and woman accused of using the woman's kids for making child pornography will remain in jail for now.
Carrie Wheaton and Roger Smith are currently being held without bond at the Dane County Jail ...
The evidence was in Wisconsin, the alleged crime was committed in Illinois, and authorities were first alerted in Missouri.
That's why the case is being prosecuted in Federal Court.
Carrie Wheaton and Roger Smith are accused of using Wheaton's twin 6 year old girls to make child pornography.
According to an affidavit filed in Federal Court ...
It started when a detective in Missouri posed as a 13 year-old girl in an online chat room.
A man later identified as Roger Smith sent the detective a link to his webcam, showing him masturbating.
An agent with the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation, or DCI, obtained a search warrant for Smith's home in the Town of Hollandale - in Iowa County.
Investigators found a digital camera and memory cards containing 24 pictures of child pornography.
All of the photos were of Carrie Wheaton's twin 6 year-old daughters.
According to the affidavit Wheaton told investigators the pictures were taken in November and in early February at her home in Illinois.
Each time she would give her daughters cough syrup so they were asleep and then she and Smith would take pictures of each other sexually assaulting the girls.
The affidavit says Smith admitted to the sexual assaults as well.
Roger Smith's father tells NBC-15 he is shocked by the charges and can't believe it.
The federal prosecutor will present the charges to a grand jury next Wednesday.
