Accused Salvation Army Officer Dismissed

The Salvation Army has not only fired the Janesville major accused of sending Internet porn, it's dismissed his wife as well, who was also a major.

David Taube is charged with sending a pornographic video of
himself to a detective in Florida who was posing as a 14-year-old
boy. Taube has turned himself over to authorities in Palm Beach
County, Florida.

Salvation Army divisional commander Bruce Bailey says both Taube
and his wife, Patricia, have been relieved of their positions.
Bailey says as a married couple the Taubes served together.

Patricia Taube had been in charge of the Janesville office after
her husband was suspended a couple weeks ago. The couple had
planned to transfer to Kansas City at the end of June.

Bailey say the Taubes are no longer Salvation Army officers.

As announced earlier, lieutenants Daniel and Kimberly Duncan of
Stevens Point will replace the Taubes at the Janesville office.
