Family and friends gathered in Milwaukee Tuesday to bury a little girl, her life ended early when she was left in the back of a day care van all day. As the sun continued to beat down, the inside of that van became like the inside of an oven.
Memorial services were held Tuesday afternoon in Milwaukee for two-year-old Asia Jones. She was still strapped in her car seat when she was found in the hot van.
Authorities say the temperature in the van was 130 degrees, and the girl's body temperature was 104.
The daycare center has been temporarily closed. The driver of the van may be facing charges.
