It's been almost 20 years since University of Madison has been used to film scenes for the Rodney Dangerfield's comedy "Back to School." This week Madison's scene is being used once again.

Lakeshore Entertainment, the production company that made the film "Million Dollar Baby" is shooting several scenes on campus and downtown for the new movie "The Last Kiss."

Producer Tom Rosenberg and Executive Producer Andre Lamal both graduated from UW Madison and wanted the story to be set in Madison, a place of familiarity and fond memories. Rosenberg says, "We knew what kind of shots we wanted because we are so familiar with this place, so we almost did the scouting trip in our head of time and we knew exactly what to do to establish the capital and the University, where we thought it should be."

Lakeshore Entertainment says it selected landscapes that will not only showcase the campus but also downtown Madison.
