Dane County residents will be called for jury duty in the high-profile Chai Vang murder trial.
In an effort to pool un-bias jurors, Sawyer County will be choosing Dane County residents for the Vang trial.
The jurors will be sequestered for the entire length of the trial in northwestern Wisconsin. Sawyer County is picking up the bill for all expenses accumulated during the trial, so area taxpayers won't be affected.
Gerry Mowris from the State Bar Association says, "All the costs and expenses that are ordinarily paid by Dane county would be billed to Sawyer County, so they would pay the costs and expenses."
The date for jury selection has not been decided and will depend on when Dane County has a courtroom available.
