Senate Republicans approved a state budget this morning.
It includes a new tax break for parents who teach their children at home or send them to private school.
The break is just one of the many changes made overnight to win enough support from Republican lawmakers.
The budget is for the two–year period that starts today, but it won't take effect until it's passed by both houses and signed by Governor Doyle.
