An estimated 300,000 people showed up at Warner Park Saturday Night for a little rhythm and a lot of booms. The crowd was treated to the music of Sandy Patty and the Madison Symphony Orchestra. At about 9:45 WOLX took over with the sounds of the event.
The thousands in attendance watched in awe as fireworks lit up the sky for more than twenty minutes. Organizers say the attendance was up this year, compared to last year's event, which was postponed several days due to bad weather.
