The state is taking a closer look at its day care licensing code following the death of a two-year-old girl left in a van.
A spokesperson from the Department of Health and Family Services says child care centers need to account for children in their care at all times.
Two-year-old Asia Jones of Milwaukee was left in a day care van all day causing her death in last month. Currently Wisconsin's child care regulations don't require drivers to sign children on and off day care vehicles.
