A Milwaukee area day care center has its license revoked after a two-year-old is left in a van for hours and dies.
Asia Jones died June 9, and the state Department of Health and Family services suspended the license for the "Come and Grow With Me" day care center right afterwards.
Wednesday the department of Health and Family Services put out a directive for day care centers to better police the whereabouts of children under their watch. Those new procedures include a policy to call parents whenever a child is absent without the daycare center being notified.
Also, new tracking procedures must be in place for day care workers who transport kids anywhere.
These new policies need to be in effect by August 15.
