A 17–year old girl is dead after gunshots ring out on Madison's west side Thursday Now, police are looking for a 19 year old man who they say is a person of interest in that shooting.
Police identify that 19 year old as Tamis Ronell Bolden. Tthey want to talk to in the shooting death of 17 year old Sara Ouk.
The Dane County Coroner's office says Ouk died as a result of a gunshot wound. Now the questions investigators are trying to answer is who pulled the trigger and how did it happen.
Public Information Officer Mike Hanson of the Madison Police Department tells NBC 15 News investigators are hoping Tamis Bolden will come in to talk to them. Hanson says Bolden is not a suspect, but may have been in the area when the shooting happened.
Police are not calling this a homicide. Hanson says a determination on that won't be made until the investigation gets further along.
