Six inmates allegedly involved in a fight at New Lisbon Correctional Institution last fall have been charged with felonies.
15 staff members from the Department of Corrections were injured in the November incident in Juneau County.
The charges include second-degree reckless injury, battery by
prisoners, aggravated battery and attempted battery by prisoners.
The inmates are Michael Love, Alvin Kenney, Dwayne Thomas, Jamie
Vest, Bernard Treadwell and Lawrence Williams.
They face between 24 and a half and 66 years extra in prison on top of their original sentences. Each is currently in a highly secured segregation status within the prison system.
