Fitchburg police say alcohol appears to be a factor in a crash that sent two people to area hospitals.
It happened at the intersection of Highway M and Fish Hatchery Road around 6:45 Monday evening.
Authorities say a Toyota Corolla was traveling fast, when it rear–ended a pickup truck at a stop sign.
Med Flight transported one victim to the hospital. All injuries are said to be non–life threatening.
The crash remains under investigation.
