The man wanted in connection with the shooting death of a Madison teenager is in jail and three people are in custody for their alleged role in the shooting of a 26-year-old man.
Madison police had been looking for 19-year-old Tamis Bolden since Thursday, on charges of homicide by negligent handling of a dangerous weapon.
17-year-old Sara Ouk died in that shooting on Loreen Drive.
Mike Hanson from the Madison Police Department says detectives and investigators found out Bolden might be in Illinois. They contacted the Rockford Police Department and they were able to find Bolden without incident.
Meanwhile, three people from the Madison area are also in custody for their alleged role in a shooting Friday night that injured a 26-year-old man.
20-year-old Ulysses Long of Sun Prairie, 22-year-old Michael Collins of the town of Madison, and 17-year-old Marisha Goodwin of the town of Madison are being held in the Dane County jail.
Madison Police say the shootings Thursday and Friday are unrelated. Hanson says, "the fact that these two incidents happened on the west side within a mile or so of each other, is unfortunate, but there's no evidence investigators of detectives have found to link these two shootings together."
Hanson says he can't confirm or deny that drugs were or weren't involved in the shooting on Friday.
