Stay Hydrated During This Hot Spell

Constant scorching temperatures can be quite exhausting, so it's important to keep yourself hydrated.

Doctor Chad Oler, of Madison's Natural Path Health Center says the body can lose more than a gallon of water during the day. He adds .it's important to keep yourself hydrated by drinking small amounts throughout the day, since your body only absorbs 2 to 4 ounces of water in a 30 minute span.

Dr. Oler says being dehydrated can really take a toll on your body.
"you don't think the same, your performance whether it's mental, physical, psychological, they're all depressed when you're dehydrated"

Drinking at least five glasses of water a day can significantly decrease the risk of some cancers.
