Houses to be Condemned for Parking

There may soon be one more downtown parking ramp to place those advertisements.
The city council has approved the condemnation of three houses on Gilman Street to make way for the mid-state street parking ramp. The $12 million project would include underground parking spaces, retail space and condos.
The mayor says the final design of the parking ramp has not been approved but they expect that done by the end of the year. Construction is set to start next summer.
