A rural Portage man is charged with sexually assaulting a comatose patient at a nursing home.
A criminal complaint says David Johnson confessed to the assault
after being arrested at the nursing home and confronted with
surveillance video.
Prosecutors say Johnson assaulted the woman while visiting her
at Divine Savior Nursing Home in Portage last week.
Columbia County Judge Daniel George allowed Johnson's release
from jail on a signature bond, but ordered Johnson to stay away
from the Divine Savior Nursing Home as a condition of bail.
