The trial for a Lacrosse County man accused of killing his mother, and then storing her body in a basement freezer for five years is set to begin in October.
52-year-old Philip Schuth was in court today for his preliminary hearing.
Police arrested him in April after a standoff at his house. Schuth told police he put his mother in the freezer because he wanted to keep collecting her Social Security checks.
