A 30-year-old man is in very serious condition after diving into shallow water in a Columbia County lake.
It happened just before four Wednesday afternoon at the Crystal Lake Campground in the Town of Westport.
Sheriff's officials tell us the man ran and dove into a shallow area of the lake from the shore. Witnesses performed CPR, until emergency crews arrived.
He was transported by Med Flight to UW–Hospital with possible neck injuries.
Authorities believe alcohol was a factor in the accident.
