While some students moved into residence halls Thursday, most of the 6700 students are moving in this Sunday and Monday.
With all kinds of road construction going on downtown as well, traffic could be crazy.
"Well, if you're just coming downtown to go somewhere, I would take an alternate route, rather than going through the traffic-particularly on Johnson and Dayton street around our high rise buildings. With all of the construction, that's also complicating this, so it would best just to stay away from the area." Paul Evans, University Housing director.
Evans says if you are moving in, follow the instructions and directions that were mailed to you, and pay attention to signs posted on streets.
