Hurricane Relief. How Can You Help?

Many people are calling NBC15 News to find out how they can help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. We are providing this list of fund raisers and agencies you can contribute to.

American Red Cross

The Red Cross is urgently in need of financial contributions to its Disaster Relief Fund, which is critically low. All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people. Citizens can help the victims of Hurricane Katrina and thousands of other disasters across the country each year by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need. Call 1-800-HELP NOW or 1-800-257-7575(Spanish). Contributions to the Disaster Relief Fund may be sent to the Badger Chapter, 4860 Sheboygan Avenue, Madison, WI 53705. For more information call 608-233-9300 of visit www.arcbadger.org.
