Food, medicine, and a place to sleep are being given to nearly 180 people staying at the State Fair Park in suburban Milwaukee.
The evacuees were brought to Wisconsin Thursday. Many were actually unaware they were coming here until they were in the air.
The Wisconsin Humane Society set up a fenced area near the tarmac for pets of the evacuees.
