On Sunday, May 18, 2008, around 3:15 p.m., a 15-year-old male from Madison was arrested for a May 14 robbery.
He was taken into custody after being spotted in a Verona Road grocery store parking lot. The teen has been tentatively charged with Strong-Armed Robbery, and three counts of Attempted Armed Robbery.

Wednesday, May 14, 2008 --- 12:05 p.m.
Around 10:47 p.m. Tuesday night Madison and Shorewood Police responded to a residence in the 400 block of North Segoe Road following a robbery.
The perpetrator had been on a Madison Metro bus with the victim, and followed her off of the bus. The perpetrator first contacted the victim outside of her home and demanded money. She indicated any money she might have would be inside, and he followed her into her residence where several roommates also live. The perpetrator claimed to have a gun although no weapon was seen.
All of the residents told the perpetrator they had no money, but he did get away with a bag containing the original victim's phone and IPOD.
Suspect:
Perpetrator is described as a male, black, late teens-early 20's, 5'4", 130 lbs., wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a red design on the right side of the sweatshirt. He also had on long, baggie blue jeans.
