MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A federal judge has sentenced a man to more than a decade in prison for possessing thousands of images and scores of moves depicting child pornography.

The U.S. attorney's office in Madison says 33-year-old Jody Behlke of Platteville possessed more than 5,000 photos and 278 movies.

U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb sentenced Behlke to 10 years and nine months in prison. She also imposed a lifetime term of supervised release and ordered him to pay a $100 criminal assessment.

So lets just "count" on some other convict to teach this man a lesson (not that he deserves to be called a man)? He'll most likly get a death threat and be thrown in segregation for the remainder of his sentance. After 3 years, remember he has a chance of getting out on a supervised release. But again the children targeted and violated in these acts will most likly bear deep emotional scars for the rest of thier lives. I pray something is being done to identify and comfort all the children directly involved in this case. The most important part is helping these kids, they will get no satisfaction in this sick mans pain (even if we would)!

People!! Have you heard what happens to child molesters in prison? "If" this guy lives long enough to serve his full sentence he may not be reformed but you can bet he'll be reworked.

This guy should get more than 10 years in jail that is just wrong in so many ways...he should be in jail for life or if WI would get death penalty then that..that is just so sick and wrong...

A small price to pay for the hundreds of innocent children who will live on with these scars. Something more should be done, it isn't enough!

Is this a joke? 10 years for endangering and participating in the abuse of hundreds of children who were filmed?
