RACINE, Wis. (AP) -- Prosecutors are recommending a year in jail and probation for a former Racine day care worker accused of failing to prevent three children from attacking a fourth.
Twenty-four-year-old Krystina Woods has agreed to testify against another day care worker charged in the case and has pleaded no contest to a felony charge of failing to prevent bodily harm to a child.
The Journal Times (http://bit.ly/1pDO9nA ) says the women were charged last year after allowing three toddlers to attack a fourth at Bundles of Blessings Kids Kare in April 2013. The criminal complaints say the women watched the attack on a 2-year-old boy and posted it on Facebook. Woods will be sentenced Aug. 28.
Twenty-three-year-old Jakitta Hollins, of Caledonia, goes to trial in Racine County June 24.

RACINE, Wis. (AP) -- Two employees of a Racine child care center are facing felony child abuse charges.
Police say a video surfaced on social media that shows three young children restraining and beating a 2-year-old boy at the Bundle of Blessings Kid Kare center last month.
Sgt. Jessie Metoyer says one of the employees, a 22-year-old Caledonia woman, is the mother of two of the children who physically assaulted the toddler. Metoyer says the three children, ages unknown, held down the 2-year-old and punched and kicked him. Police say the video was taken by one of the two women.
The Caledonia woman and a 23-year-old Racine woman are each charged with child abuse by failing to prevent bodily harm. Both women are due in court Friday afternoon.
Metoyer says the 2-year-old is doing OK.
