I think I know the people that this happened to and the house was an amazing house. It was exquisite.

My parent's house burned two years ago. The family dogs were in the house and unfortunatly did not survive. My parents were at work and got there after the firetrucks. Even the neighbors tried to get the dogs out but couldn't because of smoke. These things are very very devestating, and my heart goes out to these families. My prayers are with you.

No Amanda, there seems to be an unusual amount of fires along with a high number of accidents this summer given the fact of the extremely high price of fuel as well.

Is it just me or have there been a lot of fires this year? My thoughts and prayers are with ALL of these families...

When all these fires occur, I want to know if people are changing the batteries in the smoke detectors if people are at home when these fires happen? Like I'll be changing the batteries this month, I do that twice a year, plus I need to get a bigger and a newer fire extinquisher.
