Mother Pleads Guilty to Creating Porn With Twins Save Email Print

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- An Illinois woman faces at least 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to doping her 6-year-old twin girls with cough syrup and taking nude pictures of them with her boyfriend.

The 30-year-old mother pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court in western Wisconsin to creating child pornography.

Her boyfriend, 37-year-old Roger Smith of Hollandale, pleaded guilty last month to sexually exploiting children. Both are due for sentencing in September.

U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb ordered the mother, who is pregnant, placed at a federal Bureau of Prisons medical center until sentencing.

The twins have lived with their father since the couple divorced in October. The pictures were taken in November and February at the woman's home in west-central Illinois.

The Associated Press generally does not identify people who may be victims of sexual assault and naming the mother could reveal the girls' identities.

father of the twins: please give the girls a hug from our family too. don't have to tell them why, or from who, but some day, out of the blue, if you think of it, please hug those little angels for all of us, and give them the extra love we are sending to them in our prayers

Ah, the death penalty is too generous for the likes of these sick individuals... work farms, hand shoveling snow on the UW campus in wintertime while wearing shakles, sweeping city, county, state, federal parking lots with a broom with three bristles on a 100 degree day... now there's some penance, right out of the bible and such! Aren't all sinners supposed to spend an eternity in a really hot place or something like that? Someone should definitely roto-rooter the baby factory after the babe is born to prevent this sicko from ever breeding again!

The twins are fine. they don't remember anything. the baby is not mine. the twins will have the best life can give them. you can be assured that they have plenty of help between school, church, and home. they will be fine.

I hope that baby is taken away immediately and put up for adoption. Getting pregnant was probably a ploy to try and stay out of prison or get a lighter sentence. As it is she already gets special treatment because she is "high risk." The only ones at high risk were her twins.

I hope they take the baby away from her as soon as s/he is born, she does not deserve to have another child to molest at her heart's content. poor little girls!!

Cough syrup to put them out??!! Is that going to be put behind the counter now too? What will these sick people think of next? I hope these two never get out but, they will! If the real dad can't take care of these 2 girls & the unborn, i would take them in an instant. My only fear is that when the woman gets out, they will give the children back to her.

I hope this woman is severly hurt in jail, What a sick person..I pray for her children to have a normal, happy childhood now that their sadistic parent is being punished.

Hey NBC 15 I sure appreciate you taking off the bimbos picture. I've got my brother his wife and their 2 kids comming up from Atlanta. My mom and I are gonna be makin a bunch of different foods, One of my favorite is Sandwich. Black Angus, mortadella, hot and mild sopresatta, provolone, cucumber pickle tomato olive salad. If I were to read an article with this bimbos picture I'LL throw up all over the place.

Trust that whatever this woman is going to recieve for 17 yrs in prison being a child molester, is probably better punishment than a quick human death.

i can't believe she's preggers again. how sad, i hope that one gets taken away right away. I CANNOT believe she's only facing up to 17 years for this. I hope they both get "it" really bad in prison.

I really hope the State realizes these people don't deserve kids and the baby on the way will be given to a more deserving couple. What a disgrace--I really hope these kids can recover from this and live as normal of lives as they can.
