Rock County Authorities are releasing new details in the death of a husband and wife from Milton.
Autopsy results confirm that Kevin and Edith Kerr died of multiple gun shot wounds prior to a fire that destroyed their home.
Police have also determined that an accelerant was used to start the blaze, which happened late Monday night at their home on Ansley Street.
When police arrived, they found the Kerr's son, Daniel, outside the home on fire. He is still in a coma at the UW Hospital burn unit and considered the only suspect in the murder/arson investigation.
