It's a conspiracy! Mayor dave, in his attempt to make the west side look dangerous, has had actors stage all these crimes! notice the 2 cars that got ripped off on the west side in the last month were found reasonably quickly, w/ no damages, and the drivers were caught! dave wants criminals behind bars, so these actors will get huber, but I bet the people that robbed eastgate cinema, and howard johnson's on the east side get probation, b/c they were caught in the act, and dave wants people to feel safe on e. wash since he spent millions of $ to make it all pretty as the gateway to the city! look @ it! two car thefts, two hotels robbed on the west side, perps all left the scenes, one theater, and one hotel, and perps caught on site by security guards and cops! you'll also notice he had a bus driver attacked so people will drive their own cars, buying gas, paying for parking downtown where most meetings take place! or patronize cab companies in Madison! just watch when they're sentenced

what a crap hole the west side is becoming! this is what the second car stolen in as many weeks? first that lady dropping her kids off at the babysitter's place, and a drug addict steals it and takes it to a drug house (which no one said was ever shut down after that car ended up there!), and now this drug carrying loser- why can't the cops just shoot these low life law breaking losers? I mean, it isn't like no one in the past 30 years has forgot to mention that drugs and stealing are illegal, so just shoot the rats and put them out to rot in the dump with the rest of the trash! and somebody go slap that pizza driver! Duh! let's make it really easy to steal the car!

If they had it running, they should have had a 2nd key to unlock the running car. Never keep a running car unlocked.

To Me: Who cares if he left his car running...the four people STOLE his car! They were the ones that were in the wrong not the one who ran inside to get more pizzas to deliver! He was working!

I agree, the boob got what they deserved. Who in their right mind would leave their car running? Even if he had another delivery waiting inside the store for him/her, it only takes a second to open a door, put the car in drive and take off.

Oh lookie- another teenage punk loser ripping off the property of a hard working individual that uses the car for their job! too bad the cops didn't have to shoot! well, it could have looked like they had to, had they done it anyway, which they should have done, but I respect that the officer showed great restraint in not capping the little ba*d while he was running! would have served the little punk right, and saved us all some $$!

Just another fine lesson for the Madison/Dane County area. Start electing a D.A. who's not afraid to go after criminals. The current situation in that office will continue to lead this community to seeing criminals like this on the street more and more. Brian Blanchard's defense is always "we don't have funding" but if you talk to any of his assistant D.A.s they all say its just because he doesn't have a spine. Someone needs to run against him in the upcoming election so the D.A.'s office can again return to working with police instead of against them.

Go figure, another re-peat offender. Ballard has been in jail before. These guys will never get it. Time to start locking up these thugs and never let them out!

Maybe they ordered a pizza and it wasn't delivered fast enough so they wanted to show this guy how to deliver pizza's in record time.
