3 arrested in DOC, U.S. Marshals and Madison Police investigation

Madison Police officers assisted the Department of Corrections and U.S. Marshals Service in an investigation that led to the arrest of three people Wednesday afternoon.

The investigation focused on the apprehension of 28-year-old Michael Davis Jr.

When authorities entered Davis' residence on Wickham Court, they reportedly discovered a rifle and a handgun. Davis, 31-year-old Marcus McClain and 28-year-old Willie Fleming were arrested. Police say Fleming was carrying a concealed handgun.

Police say they confiscated drugs and money.

They also found a pit bull in a basement storage locker. The dog did not have food or water and was in a crate. Fleming said the dog belonged to him. Authorities were called in to care for the dog.

The suspects face the following charges:

Willie R. Fleming
Suspect was arrested for Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession with intent THC (marijuana), Keeper of a Drug House or Car.

Michael S. Davis, Jr.,
Suspect was arrested for maintaining a Drug Dwelling, possession of THC, and on a Parole Hold.

Marcus A. McClain
Suspect was arrested for possession of THC.
