Rock Co. deputies are releasing more information after Thursday's crash on the Highway 14 bridge over the Rock River.

Deputies say Leslie Turkleson lost control on the ice covered road. His vehicle crossed the center line and hit a car driven by Cathy Venema of Darien head-on.

Venema was taken to the hospital, and was listed in serious condition. Her daughter Shea Lahr was also in the car during the crash. Lahr and Turkleson were both taken to the hospital as well and were listed in stable condition.

A third vehicle was also involved in the crash. The driver was not injured.

Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.

State traffic officials were called in to inspect the bridge's side-barrier following the crash.

The Rock Co. Sheriff's Department says three people were sent to the hospital after a three car crash on a Highway 14 bridge.

It happened around 10:50 a.m.

The crash had closed Highway 14 from Highway 51 to Highway E. Dispatchers confirm that the road has since re-opened.

Deputies say the bridge was slick, and it appears one of the cars lost control and hit another.
