Incident Report from Dodge County Sheriff's Office:

A 17-year old Fall River man was killed in a one-vehicle, roll-over traffic crash on Behan Rd., 4/10 mile west of Lange Rd., Township of Elba after midnight on October 5, 2008.

Investigation shows that the vehicle had been traveling westbound on Behan Rd. The vehicle was attempting to negotiate a left-hand curve on Behan Rd. when it began rotating in a counter-clockwise manner. The vehicle left the roadway, entering the north-side grassy ditch. The vehicle overturned several times and the operator was ejected from the vehicle.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Department wasn't notified of the traffic crash until 7:41A.M. by a local resident. The Dodge County Medical Examiner responded to the scene and pronounced time of death at 9:39A.M.

The traffic crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.

Alcohol, speed and failure to wear safety belt are believed to be contributing factors in the crash.
