What the hell is it with the "us against them" attitude with people and the police? A kid punches an officer. at the badger game, a woman kicked and punched while being arrested. a kid smacked a police horse, causing it to bolt. when I was growing up, and I am 43, people respected the police, and the police respected people. is this part of the "extreme" generation, where everybody is pushing limits of everything, including common sense and decency?

People need to pull their head of their **S and realize that we are dealing with a generation of punk loser kids that had crappy parenting and are growing from teens into a waste of a 20 something. i agree with you J

Yeah because small towns don't have any crime do they? Lets think about that. Waunakee, Portage, Crandon, Oregon. They have all made the news in some way shape or form in the past couple of years because of crime/violence. People need to pull their head of their **S and realize that we are dealing with a generation of punk loser kids that had crappy parenting and are growing from teens into a waste of a 20 something. Madison is still safe if you keep common sense close.

What is going on in this city? Every day we hear of more and more crimes, and they are getting more serious and violent. I no longer feel safe in the Madison area.

Go figure two out of the three incidents the suspects were not even from Madison.
