Police Arrest 15 in 2 Drug Busts

Thursday, October 16, 2008 --- 7:50 a.m.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Department and Portage Police Department announce the arrest of numerous subjects in the Columbia county Area as the result of a 2 month investigation into the use and sales of illegal narcotics. The two agencies executed search warrants and made controlled undercover drug buys during the investigation. The following subjects were arrested with these charges:

Jeffrey S. Cueto, 24, Pardeeville
Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Deliver schedule II narcotic

James R. Gollnick, 41, Friendship
Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin
Possession of Heroin in Jail
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Zachary Beebe, 18, Portage
Maintaining a Drug Dwelling
Possession of THC
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Deliver THC

Jessica Clevenger, 24, Portage
Two counts of Deliveryof Schedule II Substance (Liquid Methadone)

Tiffany Craig, 20, Rural Portage
Delivery of THC

A juvenile
Possession of THC

Andrew Esquivel, 25, Illinois
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Joshua Harrington, 25, Portage
Delivery of THC

Dylan Hayes, 21, Portage
Delivery of THC

Michael Ross, 26, Portage
Delivery of THC

Ashley Vantassel, 18, Rural Rio
Theft of Narcotics
Possession of THC
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

A search warrant was ALSO executed at 210 Palmer Parkway in Lodi on Oct. 14, 2008. The following are arrests made in that case:

Travis Meade, 17, Lodi
Delivery of Marijuana
Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
Maintaining a Drug Dwelling
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Shaina M. Meade, 19, Lodi
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of Marijuana

Robert Meade, 57, Lodi
Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Elisabeth White, 19, Lodi
Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Columbia County Sheriff Dennis Richards tells NBC 15 News that the arrests are part of multiple cases.

He says the Lodi case is linked to the distribution of drugs within the Lodi School District.

Seized as a result of the investigations were vehicles, guns, cash and illegal narcotics that include Heroin, Liquid Methadone, Marijuana and other prescription drugs.
