According to the Grant County Sheriff's Department:

Eric D. Percival, 26, of Dickeyville, was heading southbound on USH 35/61 on the north edge of Dickeyville in Grant County, WI. Witnesses said Percival was traveling at a high rate of speed in a 1997 Ford Ranger pickup truck. Witnesses saw Percival leave the right side of the highway turning sideways, striking a power pole with a passenger side of the truck. The vehicle ended up on its roof in the middle of the intersection of Hickory Ln and USH 35/61. Percival was not wearing his seat belt and succumbed to his injuries. This accident is under investigation to see if alcohol was a factor.
