BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. (AP) — A judge has upheld his order banning a political group from running its radio ads against a candidate for state Assembly in west-central Wisconsin.
Jackson County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Lister on Sunday upheld an order he made a day earlier that says a Middleton-based Coalition for America's Families must stop running ads that make false representations about Mark Radcliffe, a Democratic candidate for the 92nd Assembly District.
The ad says Radcliffe supports a health care plan that would double Wisconsin's taxes to give benefits to out of state residents and illegal aliens. It also says the $15 billion plan would make Wisconsin the highest taxed state in the country.
Radcliffe — who is up against Republican Dan Hellman, of Onalaska, for an open seat — filed the restraining order request Friday.

BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. (AP) -- A judge has ordered a political group to stop running radio ads against a candidate for state Assembly in west-central Wisconsin.
Jackson County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Lister ruled Saturday that Coalition for America's Families must stop running ads that make false representations about Mark Radcliffe. He's a Democratic candidate for the 92nd Assembly District.
The ads say Radcliffe supports a plan to double taxes in the state, he supports a $15 billion plan to create new taxes or that his plan represents a $510 per month increase in taxes for every Wisconsin worker.
The Radcliffe campaign filed a restraining order request Friday. The Middleton-based group plans to make a comment later in the day.
Radcliffe is up against Republican Dan Hellman, of Onalaska, for an open seat.

I do believe a group from Michigan was doing that to Phil Garthawite from the 29th district as well.
