From the Dane County Sheriff's Department:

Madison, WI. January 5, 2009 – The Dane County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on several daytime burglaries in eastern Dane County.

On Thursday, December 11th, two homes were burglarized in the town of Burke between approximately 11:00 am and 1:30 pm. Thousands of dollars worth of electronics, computer equipment, cash, firearms, and ammunition were stolen. At an address on CTH T, detectives believe the burglars used a dolly to remove a large safe containing several firearms. In this case, the persons responsible may have been scared off by nearby traffic before they helped themselves to additional items. Entry was made both by force and through an unlocked door.

On Tuesday, December 23rd, another residence on Felland Road was burglarized sometime between 10:00 am and 5:45 pm. Not only did the burglars steal items such as electronics and furniture, they vandalized the home and destroyed a 65-inch television by smashing the screen.

The Dane County Sheriff’s Office reminds residents to be aware of the activities in their neighborhood and report anything suspicious to authorities immediately. Anyone with information relating to the cases mentioned above should call the Dane County tip line at (608) 284-6900.

I live on Felland Rd. Why didn't we here about this earlier. People should know if they have a chance it might happen to them. I am so afraid of this happening. Nobody is safe anymore. I would like to know exactly where on Felland Rd.
