Brodhead Man's Arrest Sparks Drug Investigation
Green county man arrested; faces several drug charges.

In the City of Brodhead the traffic stop and later arrest of Roy Van Brocklin of rural Brodhead on March 20, 2009 at about 3:00 p.m. led police to investigate the possession and possible manufacture of methamphetamines by Van Brocklin.
Van Brocklin was arrested by Brodhead Police Officers and Green County Sheriff Deputies in the 200 block of Ninth Street following a traffic stop. Police referred charges of Possession of Methamphetamine; Possession of Materials used to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Possession of Waste a result of the Production of Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substances, Operating while intoxicated and several traffic charges to the Green County District Attorney.
Assisting in the investigation was the Green County Sheriff's Department, the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation, Agents of the State Line Narcotics Team. Federal authorities also responded to take custody of suspected hazardous materials.
Van Brocklin is currently at the Green County Jail.
