Driver Injured in Semi Rollover Crash
A semi driver is injured after a rollover crash in the Town of Springdale. INSIDE: Release from Dane County Sheriff's Office.

From Dane County Sheriff's Office:

Madison, WI. 03/25/09 – At approximately 4:52 am, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with Mount Horeb Police, Fire, and EMS, responded to US Highway 18/151, approximately .5 of a mile east of State Highway 92, Town of Springdale, for a semi rollover crash.

David R. Aronson, age 24, from Ashland WI, was operating a Freightliner, eastbound on US Highway 18/151, when he lost control and the semi rolled over.

The crash caused the eastbound lanes of US Highway 18/151 to be completely blocked.

Eastbound traffic was rerouted to northbound State Highway 78, to eastbound County Highway ID, to US Highway 18/151.

The scene of the crash was cleared at approximately 9:45 am.

Aronson was transported to UW Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.

Thank goodness at that time of the day there isn't much traffic. We don't need another powerful semi going out of control and killing people.
