I couldn't agree with you more Joe!
Everyone over the age of 65 should take a cognitive/reaction driving test every year.
I am unsure of the all the details that go along with this fatal crash but i still can't understand how the guy died making a right hand turn... Plus, what irritates me is the fact that i have to listen to the geriatric community complain about the young driving population and how terrible we are behind the wheel. I've been on more accident scenes where the motorist at fault was over 75 yrs. old. Do not get me wrong though. There are more than enough responsible older people who are good drivers. But when age increases, reaction time and awareness decrease. Don't hate me for saying it, it's science.
