Postal Offices Extend Hours for Holiday Mail
Some local post offices are extending their hours to meet the high demands of holiday mail. The United States post office says it will mail an average of 150 million pieces of mail every day in December, not including packages.

The United States post office says it will mail an average of 150 million pieces of mail every day in December, not including packages.
Post office lobbies at both the Milwaukee Street and west side locations in Madison will be open 24-7.
Madison post master Robert Cavinder says, "You'll be able to use our automated postal services where you can take care of any transaction that you would normally do with a window clerk."
The post office also recommends mailing items early in the day and early in the month.
USPS wants to remind you about 2 upcoming deadlines.
To guarantee Christmas delivery overseas using priority mail you must send your package by December 11th and by the 19th if you ship express.
