Portage Man Gets 7th OWI A Portage man was arrested for his 7th offense of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated. INSIDE: Release from Dane County Sheriff's Department.

Dane County Sheriff's Department:

A Portage man was arrested for his 7th offense of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated Thursday evening.

Kevin Roberts, 55, of Portage was near the intersection of County Highway V and Wernick Road, in the Town of Windsor when his vehicle was stopped by a Dane County Sheriff’s Deputy after Robert’s vehicle had crossed the centerline.

Roberts was booked into the Dane County Jail for felony OWI and a Probation Violation. The results of the blood test are not known at this time.

"Zero deaths" in Wisconsin is such an unrealistic dream. It's an embarrassment and a joke that legally we tolerate as much as we do. The joke is that our governor thinks that we can acheive zero deaths and it's a goal we can all help reach. Funny. I am one person that is smart enough to know that unless we crack down on drunk drivers we will never get close. Wake up Gov. You're crazy to think we can get there. People laugh at the ads saying yeah right and whatever.

What? Has he been in jail all weekend? If so, how can he work on his 8th, 9th and 10th?? Come on judge, you should pardon him for the weekend, at least!! Maybe he'll be traveling the same roads as your loved ones!!

i just dont see whats so hard about...if you have a drink, dont drive. this isnt rocket science.
